Despite the Melissa and Doug Train Table’s sturdiness and nice features, some reviewers were able to find flaw in its design, and that is particularly the drawer. The drawer sits a little low and you have to pull it up a bit when you pull it out. It seems to be made of not-so-sturdy fiber board. The holes drilled for the screws were not aligned properly, so the sides of the drawer were crooked. The slots for the bottom of the drawer did not line up either, so the drawer bottom stuck out past the front of the drawer. No amount of gentle tapping would push the bottom into the back of the drawer far enough. It is not on wheels and can be hard to pull out and does not pull out in a smooth motion.
