It is very sturdy and has survived 1-year olds crawling on it, 2-year olds pulling on it, 3-year olds throwing cars at it, 4 and 5-year olds hiding under it.

This kids train table is perfect for match box sized cars and the small Thomas train set. Another reviewer believes that this table is awesome and toddlers should have it. There is a fully functional, battery-operated train which goes around and even adults love watching it. The price is unbeatable.

The pieces broke really easily, and the bridge piece never fit the track correctly so it wanted to keep lifting out. When compared with wooden or other train sets that you can change and rearrange, this table is completely static. All there is is a windy loop of track, and that gets dull very quickly.
